How We Select Stories
We prioritise stories that are suppressed, underreported, or misrepresented in mainstream or partisan media. We give weight to stories that directly affect the Catholic faithful in Kerala and India, and to stories that expose disinformation, abuse of power, or violation of religious freedoms. We do not publish content solely because it is sensational or generates traffic.
Our Fact-Checking Process
All news articles are verified against at least one primary source. Investigations require multiple independent sources and documented evidence. Fact-check articles are assessed against publicly available primary documents and expert consensus. We acknowledge when evidence is ambiguous or incomplete.
Corrections Policy
Errors are corrected as quickly as possible. Corrections are noted within the original article, with the date of correction. Significant corrections — those that change the meaning of the article — are disclosed at the top of the article. To report an error, contact:

News
Factual reporting of events. News articles aim to present verified facts without editorial opinion. Attribution and source information are provided where possible.
Opinion & Editorial
Opinion pieces and editorials represent the views of the author or editorial board. They are clearly labelled and do not represent the factual reporting of Nasrani News.
Fact Check
Our editorial assessment of specific claims, scored against a verdict framework. Based on documented evidence at time of publication.
Investigation
In-depth reporting developed over time, using multiple sources, documents, and interviews. Investigations are held to the highest evidential standard.
Conflict of Interest Policy
Contributors and staff must disclose any financial, personal, or professional relationship with the subject of an article. Articles where a conflict exists are either declined or the conflict is disclosed to readers. Nasrani News does not accept payment for editorial coverage.
Source Protection
We do not reveal the identity of confidential sources without their explicit consent. We take active steps to protect the identity of sources who face risk if identified. Source material that could identify individuals is anonymised or withheld.
